About Kristin

I am a former nanny and current mom of 4. As my own (wonderful) kids are "big kids" now and don't need so much of my time, I am looking to share my love of kids and skill set with other families. I have degrees in Language Arts and Special Education, and have worked for years with kids in a school setting. I have experience working with kids with disabilities and kids who are neurodivergent. I currently own and run a non-profit, Riptide Community Closet. I am energetic and creative, and I believe in joyful, nurturing, well-rounded childhoods. I prefer part time, and flexible would be even better so I can still do all the "mom things" for my own kids when they need it. I am pet-friendly and non-smoker. I am fine with making meals and light housekeeping.
