Hi , I'm Kristin. I am 64 years young , with 30 +years experience in childcare. I started working in paid childcare 20 years ago after falling in love with the experience while volunteering at my children's preschool. I worked with children ages 2-5 in a preschool setting for 7 years; 5 of those years as a Teacher Assistant and 2 years as a Lead Teacher. For the past 12 years I have been a private nanny for a number of families, with children ranging in age from 3 months to school age. My responsibilities have included providing all care throughout the day, meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry, all while supplying a rich developmental and child interest driven atmosphere. I have the 12 ECE units required for teaching preschool as well as a current CPR, AED and First Aid certification. Kristin has been an amazing caregiver for my grandson for the last almost 9 months! He just turned 1 year old and loves the time he spends with her. Kristin is kind, patient and energetic. She is very knowledgeable of child care and child development with so much experience that I knew right away she was going to be the perfect fit for our family. Kristin values communication and always takes care to keep me aware of how my grandson is every day when I am away, and I have never been worried about him for a second. I would say I will miss her, but she is a part of our family now so she will be in our lives and his for a long time!
