Kristine became our nanny when I went back to work after having my second. She worked for us for about 6 months. Our daughter was 2-3 years old, and our son was 6-12 months old. The only reason why Kristine isn't with our family now is because I chose to stay home with our kids. Kristine is great with kids, especially young kids. She is enthusiastic, very positive, nurturing and connects with young hearts and minds. Kristine engaged our kids with fun, creative and educational activities such as art projects, cooking projects and books (lots of books!). Our eldest especially enjoyed the art projects, and I have a wall of paintings to prove it. Kristine is good about dealing with the "chaos" of kids. I don't know about your household, but with two little ones, things are often a little crazy and sometimes unruly. Whatever the situation, Kristine always remains calm and handles whatever the situation (whether it involves poo, a tantrum, anything) with calmness and good judgment. The kids respect her. She is gentle but firm. She communicates with kids well. Kristine is flexible and takes input very well. She will listen to your concerns and modify her behavior to achieve whatever thing or routine that is important to you and your family. I very much appreciate this about Kristine. Something I fear is a nanny coming in and "taking over" my kids or household without listening to my input. Kristine is good about listening to your needs/desires and making them happen. Kristine is trustworthy. Kristine communicates well with the parents. At the end of the day, Kristine always gave me the "highlights", both good and bad. I always felt very informed and "in the loop" about the kids and their day, so to speak. In sum, Kristine was wonderful for our family, and I recommend her for your family.
