I spent 20 years in the Army and recently retired in the last year, 01 Feb 2020. I spent the majority of my career working with computers and lacked personal connections. Once I retired I was determined to spend my time working with people. I have been working as a medical research assistant for the University of Colorado in the last year. I worked on a mobility study with older adults recovering from surgeries in the skilled nursing setting at the State Veterans Home in Aurora. I have been working remote the last 9 months for the university. I miss the human interaction and I really miss working with older adults. I would be a great companion, I am a great listener, I am talkative, I love going on walks, I love animals, I can cook and clean, assist with any hygiene needs, and any other needs. I have over a 100 volunteer hours with community based free clinics and 100 hours of hospice care. I just received my 2nd COVID vaccine on 2 Feb 2021.
