My belief is that children are our most precious assets and our collective future. My focus is on lovingly caring for children while fostering a love of learning and encouraging each child in the path toward whom they were created to be :-) Aside from child development classes, CPR, basic first aid, and thousands of hours babysitting/nannying when I was younger, I've also raised two amazing children to adulthood. After the school system failed them, I homeschooled/unschooled them, allowing them to pursue their passions while perpetuating a life-long love of learning. I founded and organized a group of homeschool families and loved interacting with and planning activities for all the unique children in the group from infant-teens. I'm college educated, a non-smoker, love animals and have been self-employed a good portion of my recent life. My interests also include farmsteading, natural foods/products, gardening, canning, cleaning, organizing, meal planning, meal prep, etc.
