About Kristina

I have always loved animals since I was a young child. I have owned and worked with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, exotic pets such as reptiles and fish, and farm animals, including horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and cows. I now live on my own farm, and currently own 2 dogs, 3 cats (2 feral rescues I rehabbed), 3 horses, 5 goats, 60 chickens, and 10 turkeys. I have many years of experience working as a barn manager at various equine therapy programs, and am currently an equine specialist and riding instructor at Bit of Hope Ranch in Gastonia. I have also volunteered at local animal shelters walking dogs and general husbandry, including cleaning cages, watering, and feeding. I am very comfortable around all animals, big or small!
