About Kristina

I enjoy being around, conversing with and learning from older people. I helped my parents before they passed. My father was the primary caretaker for my mother who had lung cancer from which she did not recover. When it was his turn, 10 years later, I returned to the US, after completing a 2-year consulting job in Sweden, to care for him. He had prostate cancer. I helped with his meds, and other daily needs, including cooking when he finally had to give that up as well. In the end, I had hospice assistance so I am familiar with what that entails as well. No spring chicken myself, I would like to offer care and, hopefully, comfort while I still can.
