About Kristina

I have cared for children in the states and abroad. I care for 3 small children on a weekly basis. I am fun, creative and enjoy doing crafts with children if the materials are made available. I know being apart from a parent, even for just a short time, can create anxiety and stress for a child so I use positive distraction techniques and age appropriate coping skills to help them manage. I believe in gentle parenting and recognize it as a vital way of bringing up compassionate, thoughtful children free to engage with positive and negative emotions without fear of retaliation from those around them. I know children can be unpredictable so I try to remain as flexible as possible when it comes to schedules.
