About Kristina

Hi, my name is Kristina. I have a passion for care giving and am seeking a child care position. As a swim instructor I worked with infants-12y including special needs. I enjoyed curating the lessons to each child's individual needs. Creating fun ways for them to overcome the challenge they were facing. I loved hearing how my efforts not only affected the kids progress in swim but how it translated to their every day life. During my high school years I was a youth leader for my church and was a cabin leader every summer for the middle schoolers. I also volunteered in the daycare at my church ages Toddlers- 8yrs and special needs. Other experience I have includes Nannying and babysitting. one example. I nannied for a 7-year-old for a few years over night most weekdays. I would help him with his after school homework, make sure he was fed, and help with bed time. I'm equipped to handle unique situations and trauma needs as I assisted in raising foster kids with my mom for many years.
