We are delighted to recommend Kristina for your nanny position. Kristina worked with our children for four years. She was the primary care giver for our 2 daughters and one son during the hours of 8 am until 4:30 pm during the work week. When Kristina first started working in our home, our daughters were going into kindergarten and our son was a toddler. She has developed a wonderful relationship with our family, and we are sorry to see her go. However, we know and understand that her skills will be better utilized by a younger family than ours. We would strongly recommend that you utilize an annual contract for the relationship, so that both your and her expectations are set forth up front. We used a contract for all of the years with Kristina and there were no issues during the year. Each year we would all sit and review the contract and any changes that needed to be implemented, based upon the changes needed for the children. Kristina is wonderful with all age of children. She will work with you to design curriculum/activities that you would like for your child. Kristina is especially good with Art, and we love to have the kids projects decorating the kitchen! She also worked with all of our children on reading, writing and scissor cutting/fine motor skills. They were all reading before their first day of Kindergarten. She is self-motivated and is also First Aid and CPR certified. Kristina prefers a no screen time rule when she is in the house and responsible for the children. Playtime (both in-door and out-door) are required as often as possible. She has no problem spending time jumping in puddles, going to the park or playing in the snow. Kristina has also been transporting the kids to sports or play dates for several years. Overall, we would highly recommend Kristina to work with your family. We are sure that she will provide a caring, loving environment for your children and will respect your beliefs and structure. She is a very willing partner to help you raise your children.
