About Kristie

I'm a 24-year-old. I'm currently a caregiver looking after a 76-year-old male. He suffered a stroke that left him with his whole right side of the body completely paralyzed. I love caring for seniors because being a caregiver is challenging and most rewarding job. It requires a lot of patience, compassion and dedication. As a caregiver my days start very early in the morning and it is packed with various takes that revolves around the people I take care of. I mostly start my day by bathing, getting my clients ready for transferring him from the bed to the wheelchair, prepare his breakfast, medication and assist them with their daily routine. Depending on their health conditions some clients may need help with mobility like a hoyer to get to and from their bed to their wheelchair. Throughout the day I ensure that my clients take their medication on time and proscribed and end the day with a walk depending on the clients health.
