About Kristie

I'd describe my personality as patient, cheerful, caring. I like caring for seniors because they have so much to share with their stories. By listening, I sense the wisdom they have built over the years. I learned a little too late how my father just wanted attention after my mother passed away. I was in childcare for 14 years and enjoyed being with infants the most. As I see similarities in caring for infants and seniors, being with seniors makes me reflect my past years and help think about the years ahead. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding to know I contributed in some way that the senior I care for feels better about herself/himself today than yesterday and looks forward to a brighter day tomorrow. I started caring for seniors when family friend reached out for help. In my spare time, I like to walk my dogs, watch K dramas, and play poker with my family. One thing you should know about me is I am patient. My skills include cooking, organizing and listening.
