About Kristen

Hello, my name is Kristen! As a young adult, I received my AA from COCC in Psychology and Early Childhood Education before transferring to UO to study neuropsychology. Soon after transferring, I had to re-evaluate my ability to afford a career path that required such extensive schooling and decided to take a step back to look for other ways to pursue an education. In an effort to provide myself with accessible education, as well as diversifying my professional portfolio and experience, I decided to join the Navy. After successfully completing a 6-year enlistment as an Intelligence Specialist, I have relocated back home to Bend. In the next year, I will be returning to school at OSU Cascades and adjusting back to life in the PNW with my friends, family, and the outdoors. I have a long history of private childcare, local teacher-aid time, as well as CPR and trauma health care training. I look forward to providing an interactive, safe, and helpful environment to you and your family!
