48yo married mom of four (grown and flown, save one) and grandma to five (inclusive of two bonus grandchildren-11&9-year-olds, 3, 3, 2 mos). Transplant from eastern Long Island, NY. Studied early childhood education/business law in college, fell into legal field and worked as paralegal for 23 years for attorneys in private practice-primarily in the field of matrimonial and family law. Engaged the Montessori method of learning with my own children when they were young, the eldest of whom earned the distinction of valedictorian of her graduating high school class and highest ranking GPA in college (institution did not recognize labels of valedictorian, salutatorian, etc.). She now travels the world for work as a CPA for one of the Big4 accounting firms headquartered in NYC. Two children work in the field of firefighting/EMS/dispatch and my youngest twin is employed by the fed gov't. Comfortable with all ages.
