As a home health provider people are typically in a vulnerable situation and I like to bring a sense of ease. Finding and managing caretakers can be really overwhelming but I try to take off some stress by always showing up for work, being punctual and flexible within those hours, and making sure I always bring my best self to every shift. Since 2020 I have provided care for 2 families. Both of my clients were eventually accepted into hospice and we worked together until the end of life. Those experiences were very moving and I will always honor their memory. I have experience with moving clients between bed and commode/chair, changing adult diapers, feeding, cleaning, medication administration, I can also do light household work and cleaning, grocery shopping, and provide a light&safe atmosphere so people feel at ease while with me in their personal space.
