About Kristen

Hello! My name is Kristen! For the last seven years I have worked in medicine as an anesthesia technician or cell saver technician, with a majority of my work taking place at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (one year at Vanderbilt Children's) . I have experience with proper CPR and carry a current CPR certification. I am an honorary auntie to 11, aging from 20 years old to one on the way, neurotypical and special needs. My special needs care background involves Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, feeding tube maintenance and troubleshooting, wound care. I started working with kids when I was rather young, I was the oldest--seven year age gap between my half brother and I, and the oldest of six cousins. However, caring as the responsible person in charge at the age of 14. In my spare time, I like to travel, camping, cooking/baking, and I dream of learning to surf!
