Hi! I'm a childcare provider experienced with special needs. I've worked with children with autism both in school and home settings. I have experience as an instructional assistant (four years) in ABA/autistic classrooms and as a behavior therapist. I've worked with children on life, social, academic and other skills. I'm experienced with speech delays and the use of communication devices. I'm more than happy to work with therapists (speech, occupational, etc) to best help your child. Additionally, I have experience as a mental health technician. I've worked in inpatient and residential facilities with children and teens who struggle with emotional/behavioral issues and are diagnosed with mental illness. I'm also experienced with food allergies, asthma, and other various special needs. Anything I'm not familiar with, I'm happy to learn.
