About Kristen

I have a big heart for the elderly. During my 4 years of high school I took the Health Occupations trade and have learned a great deal about how to care for each person's own set of needs. I cared for family members on hospice and who have needed care in their own homes and provided them with comfort and respect. As I've said I currently care for my own mother in my home and have many siblings who help me out as well. This gives me the oppritunity to help out other families in need of a good, responsible, caring caregiver for their loved one. I have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I have worked in nursing home and assisted living settings. I was promoted to Lead Med Care Manager and organized a team of 5 CNAs. I made sure they met each individual resident's needs. I feel this type of work is not meant for just anyone. You really need to have patience, respect and love in your heart.
