Hi there!! My name is Kortney! Kids have always been a passion of mine and I would love to provide them with the best care possible. I have a bachelors of science in nursing since 2018 and have always worked in pediatrics!! I have previously worked at Children's Hospital as well as Cardinal Glennon. However, for the last 2 years I have been a travel nurse!! I have decided to come back to St. Louis permanently and want to continue working with children!! I took a break over summer and was a nanny during that time and loved it!! I have worked with children since I was young from the church nursery to babysitting neighbor kids. I was a former teacher at a daycare where I worked for 4 years with all age groups from 6 weeks to 12 years. I also was the closer/cleaner and cooked for the facility. I enjoy helping children grow and learn while also having fun!! Compensation $25-30/hr negotiable

Do not hire Kortney if you need someone dependable and forthcoming. She agreed to care for our 4-month-old on a part-time basis, but after just one week, she abruptly quit on a Saturday via text message with no notice—leaving us scrambling to find care for Monday. She had previously mentioned quitting a nursing job after just two days, which in hindsight should have been a major red flag. It was clear she never intended to commit long-term and was just using this job as a temporary fallback until something better came along, despite repeatedly assuring us that she was not seeking other employment opportunities. Childcare requires responsibility, reliability, and accountability and she showed none of those traits in our experience with her. I would strongly caution against hiring her.
