About Koreda

I live in Oregon City with my spouse and toddler. I will have a BS in Family and Human Development at the end of summer. (1 more class!) I'm trauma informed, non violent crisis intervention trained, and work with children based on their individualized developmental needs and stages. I don't believe in corporal punishment and will not be a good fit in a household that does. I believe every behavior stems from an unmet need and I love working with families that share my passion in figuring out how to best support their kiddos. I have a gentle approach, but I am not afraid of discipline (discipline means to teach, so when I say discipline I mean teach NOT punish!). That being said, what is most important to me is that each parent feels like the way they want to parent matches how they are parenting. I love helping parents find their style and offer resources and guidance to bring that to fruition! Potty training assistance is available and I have a great research based plan to help!
