I have two years of experience caring for children and two years of experience caring for seniors. In the case of the children, their mother worked from home and I assisted them by taking them to and from school, with their sports and recreational activities. When the parents had some commitment outside the home, I took care of the children and when necessary I stayed at night if the parents came home late. In the case of the seniors (two people in different houses), I took care of them during the day. Sometimes when they were on vacation I had to travel with them to take care of them and accompany them. I helped with the preparation of their food, made sure they took their medicines on time, took them to and from their medical appointments, to eat outside the home, to run some personal errands, and to their recreational activities as well.
