About Kjersti

With seven years of experience supporting children and teens in home and therapeutic settings. I began as a full-time nanny for children from infancy through adolescence, gaining experience with autism and complex mental health needs. Over the past four years at a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) and Therapeutic Boarding School (TBS), I've progressed from Mentor to Supervisor, and most recently, Assistant Adventure Director. In this role, I lead outdoor therapeutic activities, manage group dynamics, and create engaging programming that supports students' emotional growth. My Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training enables me to coach staff and students in effective coping strategies. As a certified Wilderness First Responder, I am prepared to handle high-intensity situations calmly and safely. I believe in holding boundaries with love and empathy. My core values of safety, connection, and fun guide me as I bring creativity and compassion to my work.
