About Kit

With four years of professional childcare experience and six years of experience working with people with disabilities, I go above and beyond the expectations of providing care. My goal is to work with school-aged children who struggle with modern education and the school system. In my home I provide an art studio, movement room, class room, kitchen learning space, and a fenced backyard all where learning can happen. My academic background in biochemistry and lifelong love of nature offer both a depth of scientific knowledge and practical ways to apply it. I approach childcare by meeting children where they are at; there are no bad kids, just kids with unmet needs. By working outside of the school system I can adapt the pace and content of lesson plans to each child, ensuring they get the education they deserve. I'm excited to hear from you!
