This past year I worked for mains'l to provide in home care as a direct support professional (dsp). Arriving on shift I would speak withy client and get caught up on their day since I worked the PM shift. I would pass my clients daily pm medications and complete brief changes throughout my shift. I would also cook dinner for her when she asked or grabbed her a snack. Everyday was different with tasks ranging from cleaning to going for a walk to the mall. I would help with setting up tvs and laptops. My client and I worked on boundaries and I aided in correcting her negative behaviors towards staff.
