About Kirsten

I have over 13 years of experience with nannying and babysitting children ages newborn through 12. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and love engaging with children through play and arts and crafts. I believe reading and spending time outside are essential to growing your child's creativity and confidence. I love enriching children's lives by finding age-appropriate activities such as rhythm and music classes and story times at libraries to take them to. I use my extensive experience to model and encourage the development of emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. I have a background in trauma-informed attachment theory. I've spent 3 years working with a nonprofit organization that advocates on behalf of children in foster care, and 1 1/2 years as a birth and postpartum doula, caring for newborns as well as teaching classes and educating clients on responsive parenting and newborn education.
