I am writing to recommend Kirsten S. as a fantastic nanny or caretaker for children. Kirsten has been a teacher where my children attend, as well as our main personal babysitter on weeknights and weekends for the past three years. Kirsten has taught my children both intellectually and emotionally over the past 3 years, and did it wall with love, genuine interest in them, and has helped them build self confidence in themselves. For these reasons, we relied upon her a lot of and have been so thankful to have someone we trust with our children, and as a result they have been positively impacted by their time with her. She is a very organized and capable teacher, and I am always impressed by her genuine desire to better motivate and develop children. After my oldest started kindergarten, Kirsten asked him about his work and projects, and took what she could and applied to her 4 year old class. She also spent a lot of her own time researching new and fun ways to teach the children, and based on the excited faces I saw, they were all successful! Kirsten has a strong work ethic, an energetic personality, and is self motivated. These qualities drive her to continuously learn and improve as a teacher and caregiver. Particularly, she is very skilled in: Supervising children and caring for their needs - from infant all the way up. Bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children Teaching children through play - and having fun! Modeling and enforcing lessons around social skills for children - including sharing, manners, taking turns, and respecting rules. Kirsten has a number of strengths but her main strength according to my observation is her ability to lovingly motivate children to learn while having fun. As mentioned above, she is genuinely interested in children's mental development and presented new ways of learning that captured their attention. Just as important to us as parents, she is reliable, trustworthy, self motivated, and respectful of our family dynamics and rules. In summary, Kirsten possess all the qualities - and more - that make her a fantastic nanny!! Once again, I highly recommend her for a nanny position.
