Currently employed in special education working with young adults age 19-22. I provide vocational and life skills support teaching my students in the following areas: ordering and paying for food, counting change, grocery shopping, cooking, tying, folding, navigating public transportation/dial-a-ride, executive functioning, medication management, community outings to the library, mall, gym, etc. I am also the mother of two boys with special needs including autism spectrum disorder (fka Asperger's Syndrome), ADHD, anxiety, speech delay, speech impediment, and dyslexia. Seeking employment during the summer recess and possibly beyond if the hours work with my teaching schedule.
