About Kirksey

Hi everyone! To say I am an animal lover would be the worlds biggest understatement. I grew up on a farm here in Seymour caring for our cows and pigs. Fell in love with them, as well as my the farm cats. I have always grown up with dogs of all sizes, and I was so excited last year when I was able to get my first puppy! He is just 7 months old. I have volunteered at the Blount County Animal Shelter for many years walking, providing medicine, and even helping with some of the medical procedures for all the animals that came to the center. I currently attend the University of TN College of Law and I am on the board of our Animal Defense Fund. I have kept cats, dogs, farm animals and more.
