About Kira

My name is Kira, and I have experience working with people with special needs as a Teacher Assistant. I also have a year of experience working with a senior who had dementia. My role was primarily that of a companion, meeting him in his own home and helping with medication management, preparing food, light housekeeping, and engaging in any activities of interest to him. We would read, engage in conversation, go for walks, engage in art and music, and play word games. I'm an avid home cook and baker, and love making food for people. I also am a musician and have experience leading music classes with toddlers, adults with special needs, and seniors. I'm going to be going to school for music therapy, and am happy to bring music to whomever I care for. I also am an experienced pharmacy technician, so I am familiar with and able to manage administering medication and scheduling.
