About Kira

I'd describe my personality as fun, caring and hardworking. I like working with kids because it gives me such joy. I love testing my patience and abilities when caring for different children. I'm looking for a job that that can work with my schedule. I am currently a pre nursing student at Bismarck State College, so I need a position that can fit between my classes. I started working with kids when I was 10. I had my first paid job as a childcare assistant for a Christian church. In my spare time, I like to be active and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy reading, playing sports, and I love to listen to music. One thing you should know about me is that when I am working with kids I like to be engaged with them. I prefer this approach to childcare versus leaving the kids to play or watch TV because it is healthier for their engagement and development. My skills include, staying engaged, being patient, and respecting the child's parenting styles/adapting to them.
