With 13 years of experience, I have the skills and knowledge to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, and I'm always happy to provide updates on your child's day. I'm also happy to follow your lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I enjoy being outdoors and physical games with children, as well as board games, arts and crafts and other educational indoor activities. I also have CPR training, so you can rest assured that your child will be safe in my care. I'm available to help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving and errands. Kim is the BEST. I hired her for 2 weeks, full days (8am-5pm) of babysitting for my 4.5 month old son after my childcare fell through. She has her own car and was very dependable - on time every day. Kim has experience with infants and previously working for a daycare, so needed little to no direction. She played with my son, did tummy time, read books, sang, changed diapers, put him down for naps, soothed him when he cried, prepared bottles, etc totally independently. It's clear that she truly loves kids, this is not just a job for her! When my son was napping, Kim took the initiative to do dishes and laundry as well. She was so incredibly helpful to me during a stressful time (returning to work as a new mom w/o childcare!). Kim was super flexible, able to take on additional shifts in the evening and weekends as needed. I look forward to hiring her again and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and engaged nanny or babysitter.
