Which include light house keeping, meal preparation, bathing, assisting with dressing, administration of medications, companionship, errands and assisting in any daily activities as needed. About me I was an EMT for 15 years and volunteered for an ambulance squad. I have always have had a passion for helping people. I consider myself a very kind and caring individual whose life experiences have taught me compassion and empathy is a skill necessary when caring for others.

Having Kim care for my father was the biggest blessing. She’s professional, knowledgeable, yet very nurturing. My dad and Kim had a wonderful bond. He looked forward to her coming and their time together each day. If there was something that needed to be done it was always done without asking. My dad’s exercises (both physical and cognitive) were always apart of the day with Kim caring for him. She took every opportunity to get his body and brain moving because he had both Parkinson’s and Dementia. It could be as simple as putting up and taking down a small Christmas tree. My dad had fun decorating but Kim was really working on his mobility and cognition. My mom was comfortable to run errands to attend her doctor appointments when Kim was there. That alone says so much because she’s very over protective of my dad’s care and her home. Any family that has the opportunity to hire Kim will be so grateful that they did. She’s both compassionate and very skilled in what she does and that was demonstrated each day.
