I have always had a passion for specials needs individuals. My interest heightened when I became a volunteer coach for the special Olympics 17 years ago. I have experience and a love for the patience and care needed to provide each individual I encounter with the exact type of love, support and attention needed. I am currently in the process of continuing as a substitute teacher (I always prefer the special needs classes, since I have the ability to choose what classroom I am in) - as I recently moved back to California from Oregon (I was raised in California and graduated college from here) because my husband is an oncology surgeon at Cedars Sinai. I look forward to hearing back, as I am confident I am the right fit for you! I consider caring for special needs individuals as an honor, not a job.
