Retired math teacher. Loves working with all ages of students. Algebra 1 and below is my area of expertise. I'd describe my personality as patient, reliable, and creative. I like tutoring because I have a desire to work with struggling students. Math struggles can negatively impact self- confidence and future math classes. I'm looking for a job that is part-time and flexible. I started tutoring when my niece was in Elementary School approximately 20 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, travel, and play with my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I personally have a family member who has struggled in math and I know how difficult and frustrating this can be. My skills include patience, excellent communication skills and love to work with kids.
