About Kimi Rose

Teaching for almost seven years in a Montessori-based program has greatly influenced my philosophy on childcare and learning. Combining these experiences, with many college courses in Child Development at Joliet Junior College, I believe that, as one who works with children, I should emulate patience and provide guidance, enthusiasm, and most of all love with a calm, welcoming demeanor. In my experience, these attributes have a high success in fostering a child's love for learning, independence, and creativity. A caretaker should be one that works with parents to provide for their child's needs, with open communication about goals, concerns, and milestones. I am also an advocate for early literacy and would be thrilled to provide interactive, daily plans that incorporate books, art, and music into your child's routine!
