About Kim

I am currently a Kindergarten Teacher at a private school and have been at the school for 5 years. Before I taught I worked in the infant and toddler programs at a daycare for two years. I am newly engaged and am planning to stop teaching after this school year is over and hope to nanny for 3-5 years before having my own children. I have a lot of teaching and nanny experience and would love to chat! My methods are more naturalistic and creative. It's very important at a very young age that a child has the proper imaginative stimulation and activities that will encourage cognitive thinking. I am very comfortable and confident working with ages 0-6 and have some experience with older. In my own off work time I love to wedding plan, read, go fishing and play piano.

It is with great pleasure to recommend Kim for a nanny position, my husband and I are truly blessed to have met her and to have had her take care of our daughter. Kim is extremely patient, friendly, kind and nurturing. I was amazed with my daughters development when she was in Kim's care, at just eight months old, my daughter learned many sign language signs from Kim and grew a passion for reading. Thanks to Kim, our little girl loves books more than any electronic. Unfortunately my husband and I are moving so we can no longer have Kim take care of our daughter, this breaks our hearts and we wish we could take her with us, she has truly grown to become a good friend and a part of our family, I trust her as if she were our family and would recommend her again and again.
