I am a CDA qualified teacher that currently works full time at a day care in Belleville. I am 52 years old and have worked in the day care for the last 9 years. I currently work primarily with infants and toddlers and even though I enjoy my job I am looking for a new opportunity to work with a smaller class size of children. I would like to work one on one with a smaller group of children and watch them progress as they learn and grow. I have certificates in CPR and basic first aid training, as well as safe food sanitation from the health department. I am continuing to further my education by attending classes at SWIC. My goal is to obtain an Associate s degree in early childhood education. I have mainly been focusing on the early childhood classes of the program and have so far completed 4 of the required 9 classes.
