About Kimberly

Hi, I'm Kim /Ms. Kim. I have a passion for helping struggling readers by sharing the different rules, tips and tricks to accomplish confident, fluent reading. I am patient, kind and caring. I am Not certified, but I'm trained in various curriculums and I have references of students I've tutored. In my 20 + years experience Teaching Letters, sounds, essential skills, rhyming, blending letters into words and putting words together for fluent reading. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping struggling students become confident, fluent readers. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills and passions to help young students become confident in their reading, understanding and learning. I started tutoring when I worked at the Becker Elementary school as an interventionist and saw that students needed more 1-1 time to build their confidence in reading. In my spare time, I like to spend time helping others and time with my grandchildren and great grandchild.
