About Kimberly

I'd describe my personality as calm, responsible and encouraging. I like working with kids because I love to watch them grow and learn in a loving, supportive environment. I feel passionate about letting children be children and learn doing hands on activities, such as crafts, baking, gardening or creative play. I'm looking for a job that allows me to care for children in my home, where I can provide a loving atmosphere where children can thrive. I started working with kids when I was 19 years old. I was a nanny to a wonderful family for 7 years. I became a registered nurse and worked in nursing for 20 years. I have taken care of my grandchildren since birth one day a week ( sometimes more). In my spare time, I garden, read novels and cook. I am also CPR certified.
