About Kimberly

In 2023 I relocated from Boston, MA after teaching Kindergarten to 8th grade art for 22 years. In those years I also tutored after school in general Ed (math, English, history, etc). I am now a Director of Education in non-profit in St Petersburg. I have 2 wonderful rescue pups. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, compassionate, nurturing. I like tutoring because the traditional school setting can often be overwhelming for students. Tutoring also bridges that gap and allows me to focus on the students individual needs. I'm looking for a job that allows me to give back. I am now in a Director role which limits my ability to work directly with students. I started tutoring when I began teaching in 2001. In my spare time, I like to work out, kayak, walk, paint, read and catch some live music. I have over 22 years of experience working with kids from all backgrounds, learning styles and abilities. Some of my practices include patience, repetition, call and response.
