About Kimberly

I'd describe my personality as quiet, kind and faithful. I like caring for seniors. . I enjoy listening to the wisdom and stories seniors have to share. Everyone wants to feel important and heard. I'm looking for a job that needs my skills and helps me fulfill the needs seniors has. I started caring for seniors when a friend needed help caring for her 89-year-old mom with a diagnosis of dementia. She wanted someone who she could trust and would be good to her mom, it has worked out for a year and a half. In my spare time, I like to read, watch The Chosen and old tv shows. I enjoy Christmas music and movies. One thing you should know about me is I am quiet at first. I am a good listener and when not in a group I am more personable. I am currently a children's pastor. My training with children helps a lot in caring for senior adults. My skills include loving people, being present to listen and help, redirecting conversation to help minimize angry outbursts.
