About Kimberly

With a background as a children's story time librarian, museum director, children's ESL teacher, and play based outdoor educator, I offer your family my lifelong passion for caring for and guiding learners! For families interested in leveling up their child's experience, I especially enjoy combining caregiving with my passion for the natural world. I am a certified Tinkergarten Teacher, Virginia Master Naturalist, and Eco therapist, and as the "Nature Nanny", I love brightening a child's day with nature-based activities and play! Whether in your backyard or at local park or farm, we will turn on our minds, bodies, and hearts in nature, finding opportunities to build on a variety of childhood skills like communication, creativity, literacy, problem solving, focus, persistence, and empathy.
