Growing up in a big family has given me the opportunity to care for children for as long as I can remember, although my official career began in 2012. I have nannied for families throughout CA, Maui HI, TN, IL, & KY. I'm currently traveling with my blue-collar husband, so if I'm in your area I'm available short term. I have cared for newborns (4 weeks) to preteens (12 years). I am familiar with routine schedules, baby-to-toddler transitions, daycare/school pick up and drop off, school/after school activities, swim supervision, tutoring, as well as bedtime/overnight care. I strongly encourage outdoor activities, imaginative playtime, reading, and crafts. I love exploring, adventures, and having fun while learning along the way. I have a strong background in literature and the dramatic arts as well as a degree in chemistry. Overall, I am a tidy person and don't mind light housework/cleaning up after the kids. Kimberly was an incredible caregiver to our young daughter. She's punctual, dependable and is confident and organized when it comes to caring for children. She always went above and beyond to engage with our daughter in playtime, being outside, singing songs, and sticking to a healthy eating and sleeping schedule.
