Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom who has been providing loving child care from my home for 25 years! 
I provide nurturing, safe and reliable care for infants and toddlers in a small group environment (max3) I have many local references and I have experience with newborns, special needs, twins, digestive issues/allergies and SLEEP TRAINING!! I work together with working parents to provide a stable and structured environment for their child to grow, learn and play. I work to instill kindness, manners, teamwork as well as good hygiene. Kimmi has been such a bright spot in the chaos that is raising kids. She was and will forever be a part of our family. We can’t thank her enough for loving our kids as much as we do!

I found Kimmie after my baby wouldn't sleep at a different day care. Day one with Kimmie he slept! What a godsend. She is dedicated to really spending time with the kids, doing activities with them every day, and teaching them early childhood skills. She is very friendly and personable, thoughtful and caring, and experienced. After our two kids "graduated" on to preschool, we still keep in touch with Kimmie because our kids still love her and ask to visit her all the time!

Kimmi is absolutely wonderful. She cared for my son from the age of 6 months until he was 3. She is attentive, caring and truly creates a special bond between her and the kids. we love Kimmi so much! 

When I originally sought after a taker on Care.com, I did not know that I was going to be finding such a gold mine. My husband and I are not from California and just had our baby last October so being a new parent was emotionally hard at first. When I was looking for daycare centers and even nannies, I had some skeptic introductions and terrible trial and errors. Meeting and now knowing Kimmi has put so much worry to rest.
If you are looking for someone to genuinely CARE. Look no further.
-She keeps you up to date with how your child is doing with beautiful photos and notes
-My daughter is excelling in all of her learning and developmental areas and a lot of that is time spent during the day.
-She has plenty of scheduled play time, sunshine, food, and sleep and is ALWAYS happy when I pick her up. 
***Literally not ONE day has she been upset in Kimmi's care.
We are unfortunately moving back home so our daughter can be closer to family. She is UNMATCHED  and will be missed.

I just wanted to share our family's find with Kimmi. Our 18 month older regular sitter went on an extended vacation, and we were lucky enough to find Kimmi. Our daughter was just in the middle of her separation anxiety phase, so this made things trickier. Kimmi was wonderful in comforting her, sending multiple photos and updates throughout the day, and followed our routine/schedule to a T. Her home is setup with everything and she makes things extremely simple, washing and supplying most everything but food & diapers. 

Kimmi was also extremely flexible and accommodating, and we plan to have her continually as the need arises and when our sitter (who normally lives with us) is gone. We would highly recommend her.

What can I say, Kimmi is absolutely amazing. My daughter was with her for about 7 months starting when my she was about 4 months old. Unfortunately we had to move out of state. I was so sad to leave Kimmi. 

My daughter absolutely loved it there. She had fun, hit amazing milestones, and as a new mother Kimmi was so helpful to me any time of the day or night. She was always accommodating to our difficult schedule, she knew everything about Genevieve, and I knew she was always in great hands. If we could took her to Illinois with us we would have!

Kimmie has been watching my 2 and a half year old for a little over a year now. Not only is she reliable but she has spent the time teaching my daughter and helping her with basic motor skills along the way. We are moving across the country otherwise I would utilize her for as long as possible! She has consistently kept my daughter on a good routine and she's just an all around great person through and through.

Kimmi has been an absolute blessing for our family. We've been with her since our son since he was 8 months and he is now almost 3 years old. She maintains a pretty consistent but flexible routine which has always helped keep our son happy and going to bed at a decent hour which of course makes Mama and Dada very happy. There are very few people we trust with our son-- Kimmi is pretty much always the first person that comes to mind when we need reliable and quality childcare. It'll be a very sad day when our son is ready to graduate from Kimmi's care to Preschool/TK!

Kim originally took care of my son for 2 years in the early 90's.  I was beyond thrill when she was available to take care of my daughter in 2001.  She is an excellent caregiver and to this day both my kids love her.

If I could give Kimberly 10 stars I would. She's cared for my 2.5 yr old for the past year. I moved him from a busy daycare to her home b/c he was having difficulty focusing on toys/tasks, wasn't speaking as much as he should, and wasn't napping. 

Ever since I moved him he has flourished! He is very chatty and is very intelligent and engaged for his age. She is routinized and keeps the kids on a schedule, all while being very playful and fun-loving in between. Toddlers thrive on routine and knowing was to expect. 

She is also very flexible with her schedule, in case you're stuck in traffic or have an early appointment. She's saved me several times with that. She's always thinking of exciting ways to keep the kids entertained- with bikes/toys outside, or making gutter boats when its raining. In her 25 years of caring for kids, she has collected some really neat toys as well!

Miss Kimmi is amazing. She is flexible, dependable, and my children love her. My older son is preschool age and she is constantly teaching him wonderful things about the world around him. My baby girl is given time in many different setting: either in her bouncer, outside, or play time on the floor. She keeps them very active and they come home happy and healthy. Miss Kimmi is a great addition to our family. 

Kim cared for my son until he was 3 years old and the only reason that ended was because we moved to another state. She is an incredible person. She treats the children as her own. She is loving and affectionate and cares deeply for them. When you have to leave your child with someone else for 10+ hours a day it is hard however knowing my child was with Kim put me at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to love and care for their child in their absence. 

I hired Kimberly when my daughter was 3 months old and I needed to go back to work. My daughter is now almost 3 years old. As a first time newly mother, Kimmie bestowed upon me great wisdom that I will be forever grateful for. She took real good care of my daughter and gave me peace of mind while I was at work. You can't put a price on having peace of mind knowing that your child is safe and being cared for. There are many things I learned from Kimmie and 1 of those things was being on a schedule with my daughter. I feel as though my daughter matured in the sense that she knew when it was feeding time, nap time, play time and bed time. Let's face it, having the structure that Kimmie laid out for me gave me some "mommy" time. I highly recommend her!! She is a 11 out of 10!
