I'd describe my personality as Upbeat Empathic Thoughtful I planned to become a vet. But, finances caused me to refocus my attention on fostering/rescuing animals instead. I fully believe the way a person cares about animals is a testament to their humanity. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be of assistance. I'm a dedicated lifelong pet parent. I don't consider working with animals a "job"... it's a professional and personal joy. I started working with animals at the age of 14 - dog walking and grooming. Later worked for a pet store, and eventually the animal shelter for the city (heartbreaking and educational experience). Currently, I work from home as an audiobook narrator. Recently, I retired from teaching high school English, journalism and media arts. In 2025, I'll graduate from Harvard University with a degree in Museology. Kimberly took care of my pet Taz for three weeks when I was away in Europe. She cleaned his eyes daily without me asking, Taz also had his daily walks and got many cuddles which I enjoyed seeing on my cell phone. She gave me daily updates, Taz was in good hands with Kimberly’s care. I also used her services for another weekend. And will continue as long as she saids yes 🙌 I definitely trust my dog Taz with Kimberly.
