About Kimberly

I'd describe my personality as creative, bubbly, and encouraging. I like tutoring because one on one help allows the ability to foster rapid growth. I'm looking for a job that allows me the flexibility to be at home with my child while also satisfying my inner helper and teacher. I started tutoring when I began teaching in 2016. I have worked as a Special Education teacher for the NYC Department of Education for 7 years in the high school and middle school setting. In my spare time, I like to crochet, paint, fish, and go for long walks with my kiddo and dog. One thing you should know about me is I am a certified Special Education teacher and a certified school counselor. My skills include the ability to provide individualized targeted approaches to learning.
