About Kimberly

I had my first babysitting job when I was 12 years old, since then I have found a passion for working with children. I have completed my education with a degree in Family, Youth and Community Science from the University of Florida and have recently returned from two years with the Peace Corps. Working with children has become a growing passion for me since I got my education. It started to amplify my interest helping children develop and grow. I have worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. From newborns to graduating high school seniors. I enjoy being outside and playing games, while teaching and expanding knowledge about new things. My favorite moment is when I am doing a project or having a conversation and a child has an "ah-ha" moment. Where they grasp or fully understand something we have been discussing. I am very open and friendly, but very structured and organized. I believe in having fun but having boundaries as well. I will always treat children with respect and make sure they are safe. I will always treat children as if they were my own.
