Hi, my name is Kimberly. I am 63 years old and have taught for 36 years in elementary grades. I retired in 2018. I have a BA and Masters Degree in elementary grades and many hours in early childhood. I have been a teacher most of my life: teaching lower grades, summer camps, entertaining littles during church, swimming lessons, and raising my own daughters. I've worked with children of all ages, but I'm drawn to newborns and littles. I have a clean background, and a great driving record, I don't smoke, and I am drug free. I am CPR and first-aid certified and have had all necessary vaccinations. I charge $20 an hour. If there is more than one child price is negotiable. I do have references upon requests. I am available Mon - Fri usually from the hours of 8:00-2:00. I have another short term job from 2:30-5:30 each day already. Thanks for reading my profile. I hope to meet some of you who may be in need when school reopens in August. I would love to meet you. Kimberly

Kim has been fantastic with our son the entire time she has cared for him, from the end of maternity leave up until he started daycare. We have even used her for babysitting in the evening. Our son had so much fun playing and interacting with Kim, and they played so intensely that we were often shocked how long some of his naps were. As soon as he heard her unlock the door in the morning, he would pop over to the front door to see her come in. Kim does a great job of documenting the day with a notebook that she uses to keep track of diaper changes, meals, naps, and other activities from their day together. She is also very conscious and cautious about choking hazards, so we didn't have any worries when our son transitioned from bottles to solids. By the end, Kim was feeding our son two meals and up to two snacks a day. Kim's experience as a teacher was so evident when interacting with our son, especially when she would read to him, sing songs with him, and encourage him to speak and learn new words. We were often surprised with our son trying to say a new word when we got home. Finally, Kim was extremely accommodating and willing to work with us when needing to adjust the schedule. We highly recommend Kim for your babysitting or nannying needs, and we plan on using her again whenever we can. Our son would be too sad if he didn't get to play with his friend again.
