About Kiley

I have always had a passion for caregiving and for making a difference in a positive way in those around me and their lives. Caregiving is a very rewarding job, especially when seeing the difference that your kindness and love can make in peoples lives. It started off with children and branched into animals then the elderly. I was working with the elderly and dementia patients in an assisted living facility for around 10 months, as my first job in geriatric care. I just couldn't help but to choose it as my forever career field. I felt myself connecting with my residents in a way I found to be special to be them and me. My entire goal of working with the elderly is to provide them with enriching companionship and to provide their needs and more. I am currently in the Pre-Nursing Program at TTC with a 3. 0 GPA. I have taken care of both early onset and advanced dementia residents. I am able to transfer into wheelchairs, feed, dress and provide DLA's (Daily Living Activities).
