Hello! My name is Kierstyn and I am a certificated teacher. I am currently exploring the career world outside of public schools and would love to help you and your family attain quality care from someone you can trust. As a certificated teacher, I've taken proficiency exams in early childhood education as well as Social Studies at the secondary level. I also have worked in elementary classrooms and am very familiar with the English and Math concepts for grades k-6. In addition to my content skills, I have 25 college units of childhood development under my belt, so your kid will be in great (educated) hands! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, and gentle. I like tutoring because I love helping students achieve their learning goals.

Kierstyn is great with my kids. We have two girls, ages 6 and 8. Kierstyn was always on time and the girls genuinely looked forward to seeing her every week! She helped us with meal preparation for the kids, pick up and drop off, and took our kids to the park, library, and did tons of arts and crafts with the kids too. Kierstyn treated our girls with love and care but could still be structured and firm when safety was a concern. We even trusted her in the pool with the girls which we do NOT take lightly! Kierstyn is CPR and first aid certified, and has experience with all ages due to her teaching background. I always recommend her to anyone who asks for a babysitter! Unfortunately me and my husband moved out of state so we no longer get to work with Kierstyn, but she checks in now and then and our girls still love hearing from her. Thank you Kierstyn for being like another family member to us!
